The Shaman (シャーマン Shāman) is a Ferai religious figurehead from Solum who protects the Necropolis from being entered by outsiders.
History[]
During the events of Primal, the Shaman is located in a camp within the Hunt Lands of Solum and performs a ritual to a group of Ferai, speaking in the demon tongue and causing the flames of the fire nearby to turn green and rise as a strange fog.
It is at this point that Jen and Scree approach; the Shaman tells them to go no further and seems to speak to a spirit nearby, asking if the the pair is aware of approaching the "sacred grounds". He then reacts strangely to Jen's presence and laughs, but she quickly moves the conversation along and suggests that he has no idea where Jared is. The Shaman becomes insistent that nobody approaches the Necropolis.
Whilst Scree agrees that they must go no further, Jen reasons that it would be the perfect place to hide a captured Prince. The two then head off to investigate, but realise the door lacks its green gem to allow them access.
Upon Jen and Scree's return to the camp, they report the activity at the Necropolis - namely Devena's guards and archers prowling the area - to the outraged Shaman. It takes some convincing, but he then gives the green gem to the pair that will unlock the door and tells them to go "with [his] blessing".
